Understanding how to use SeeSaw for remote learning

For Reception and Key Stage 1 children we have decided to facilitate remote learning by using SeeSaw. SeeSaw is a fantastic app which can run on mobile devices such as mobile phones and tablets, as well as on laptops and desktop computers. It easily facilitates learning as teachers set and post activities for the children to complete online, with teachers able to mark and feedback on them.

Parents will use the Seesaw Family app. This can be downloaded from the App Store on any Android or iPhone. Your class teacher will then have given your child a unique QR code. Scan this on the app and you are set up and ready to go!

Further Resources

The SeeSaw website is a really good source of additional content and resources to help both parents and children in their understanding of how to use the platform.

Simply visit to view lots more tutorial videos, download user guides and find answers to common questions relating to the platform.

If you need any help or assistance with the app, please contact the office and a member of staff will help you.
